Kinect Support For Netflix Available... Today!

Announced earlier in the year, Netflix for Kinect will allow you to select as well as pause, play, rewind and fast-forward any movie or TV show using gestures and voice. The update, which was vaguely scheduled for "Spring", has been unveiled by Microsoft to be arriving to Netflix subscribers today!

Kinect control will work from the standard dashboard software with any movie, and a new recommendation channel will appear on the Kinect Hub which will suggest movies and TV shows based on your viewing habits and instant queue.

The update should be available now once you start the Netflix app. It is only available to USA and Canada, the two countries that support Netflix. An update will be available later this Spring for Hulu Plus support, as well as voice support in many more countries.
