Gears of War Ultimate has appeared on
Gamestop.com for a Febuary 15th release date at a price of $29.99. The previously unheard of title could very well be the accidental unveiling of the
previously reported Gears of War announcement that was scheduled for the VGA's but was mysteriously delayed by Microsoft. Could Gears of War Ultimate be a re-release of the original game with Kinect support? It's pure speculation at this point, but if the release date is to be believed we should expect an official announcement soon.
Update: Microsoft have confirmed that this will be "
a collection of the first two Gears of War games and a token to download all previously released Gears of War 2 add-ons via Xbox LIVE. It will not include any new or additional features, such as Kinect support". This is likely unrelated to the delayed VGA announcement which was to contain "new gameplay which will have everyone talking".
