Kinect Beats Move to Win 'Technical Innovation' Accolade at Develop Awards

The Microsoft Cambridge Research team behind Kinect have won the Develop award for their technical achievement working on the peripheral.

Kinect beat out competition from Playstation Move, Razor for Playstation Vita, Havok Mobile and Unreal Engine 3 on mobiles to win the award, voted for by 100 game developer execs.

Collecting the award, the beaming team described the win as the "Nobel Prize of Games".
