First In-Game Screenshots of Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor

After a new trailer last month, Capcom have decided to demo Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor at this years Tokyo Game Show. Japan's biggest video game magazine Famitsu have had a chance to see the game in action, bringing us our first shots of gameplay.

Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor is a hybrid game. Players use both the Xbox 360 controller and Kinect gestures for gameplay. The controller is used to move the vertical mech tanks, as well as aiming and shooting the primary guns. Kinect lets the player use various upper body gestures to do a variety of tasks such as start the engines, use the scope and interact with crew members.

Having read through the Japanese article, NeoGAF's duckroll indicates that cockpit items that can be interacted with via Kinect will light up red. That aside, there isn't much new information. Let's hope we'll get some more footage soon!
